Database and storage setups worked better in Lovable during testing. If your goal is a working app at the end of the session, Lovable is the one that's actually done.
Then there's Bolt's counterpunch: the diffs feature updates only changed parts of files, cutting token usage and accelerating updates. Combined with Claude Code, Bolt turns into a much more capable build tool. It can iterate on itself across multi-page projects with integrations. For a developer who can navigate its quirks, that speed compounds across a whole project. For a non-coder, Bolt's early bugs are a wall.
