Codex vs Claude Code

Cursor's latest agent is pretty similar to Claude Code's, which is similar to Codex's agent.

Cursor historically set a lot of the foundation for these coding agents.

Claude Code made many improvements that Cursor and Codex copied, like to-do lists and better diffing formats.
